AHGA SITE GUIDE

Jenkins, located on Chandler Mountain, faces 150-160 and is a top landable, 750' agl cliff launch rated Hang 3. There is about 12 miles of ridge. Jenkins is located about one hour north of Birmingham off of I-59 near Horse Pens 40.                                     The new Dunn/King site is a slope launch facing 170 degrees and is about 500-600' agl. This site is advanced hang 2 to Hang 3 rated due to glide management. Probably a 5 to 1 glide to LZ. This site is located on Blount Mountain about 6 miles NE of Springville off of I-59.
